Valarie Russell-Moran
Owner & Founder, RnH LLCTwenty-plus years of cleaning experience, raised in a family of nurses in a house full of boys. Every walkthrough and quote is handled by Valarie personally, not a call center.
Life changes, and it always puts you right where you need to be. In 2016, after four months as a full-time, stay-at-home mom, I turned a lifelong love of cleaning into Russell in a Hussell, a small business built to give families and small offices their time back.
We use our own professional-grade supplies unless you request otherwise, and we never bring bleach, abrasive scrubs or harsh chemical smells into a home with kids or pets. My crews are seasoned and trained to your specific needs. No two clients get the same visit, because no two homes are the same.
I set every new client up with a 1:1 evaluation myself, so the plan we build actually fits your home, your schedule and your budget from day one.
As the owner, I firmly believe in leading by example. There is not a single task that my team performs that I have not done myself or would not be willing to step in and assist with whenever needed. That said, I am fortunate to have a highly skilled and competent team that often encourages me to stay out of the way and let them do what they do best.
Every member of our team is professionally trained, has hands-on experience, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of service. All team members sign Confidentiality Agreements, undergo federal background checks, and participate in random drug screenings. This commitment to professionalism, accountability, and excellence is why we continually strive to be the very best in everything we do.

Home cleaning & small-office help, done your way.
No packaged plans. We build the visit around your rooms, your priorities and however often you need us there.
Standard housekeeping
For allergy and exposure reasons, and per our insurance, we clean inside refrigerators and inside cabinets only on move in / move out and realtor listing prep visits.
Specialty services
Separate from standard housekeeping. These are personalized, one-on-one services, discussed and customized at your walkthrough, and adjusted any time as your needs change.
Not part of housekeeping
Some jobs take their own license, equipment and insurance. We are licensed, bonded and insured for housekeeping, so we leave these to the licensed professionals:
- Window cleaning: we do entry & exit door glass only
- Inside vents or ductwork: we dust the outside vent covers
- Carpet shampooing
- Steam mopping: we will happily prep floors for clients who steam mop themselves
Pick a rhythm, or a one-time job
Open-ended cleaning to custom, one-time jobs. No job is too big or too small. Tell us the goal and we'll build the schedule around it.

We serve Saint Joseph and the surrounding area, generally within about 20 miles. Exceptions can always be made. Just ask when you request your quote.
Currently licensed for the Missouri side only. If your project falls outside our service area in Missouri and Kansas, I am happy to recommend three licensed and insured local business owners whom I have personally worked with and trusted since 2020.
